MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR 2010/2011 SEASON:

As Swimming Victoria have increased their membership fees for the coming season, it is necessary for GCA to increase our membership fee.  GCA absorbed the increase in fees last year and it has been two years since the membership fee has changed.

The membership fees for the 2010/11 (1st of May 2010 - 30th of April 2011) season will be:

Competitive Swimmer aged 13 years and over (age as at 1st of May 2010) - $145

Competitive Swimmer aged under 13 (age as at 1st of May 2010) - $110

Non-competitor - $70

Committee member - $22


SQUADS AT NORLANE:

The squads at Norlane are now being named to differentiate the different groups and days and training requirements of each swimming group.  This will also assist Lucky to write programs accordingly for each squad and is appropriate to their level of fitness, ability and upcoming competitions.
The names of the squads are as follows:

WHALES 6 or WHALES 8: Whales 6: up to 6 swims per week.  Whales 8: up to 8 swims per week.
The days that the Whales 6 and Whales 8 squad will train, are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings & Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.


MARLINS 4 or MARLINS 5:  Up to 5 swims per week.
The days that the Marlins 4 and Marlins 5 squad trains are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings.

SEALS: Up to 3 swims per week.
The days that the Seals squad trains is Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings


PENGUINS: Sunday afternoon session only.  This is a stepping block for swimmers commencing with the club.  The session is held at Norlane Waterworld at 3.30pm and the fee is to be paid to Lucky directly (Penguin session during winter at Norlane Waterworld and subject to club swimmers competing at competition.  If unsure if the training will be held, please contact Lucky or a club representative). 

Pool entry/pool membership is also required to be paid at reception for all squads.

Remember training fees are in addition to the membership fee and are paid by Direct Debit and you should refer to the committee for this fee structure.
